Museum Trip

This week the Celebrating Sudan group organized a field trip to go to the National Museum for further research. Thanks to Ms. Lamia and year 4 for letting us join them. We learned more about Ancient Nubia! We learned about the many Kings and Queens that ruled during that era. We also learned about their lifestyles. It was a great opportunity for all of us. We all experienced a new way of researching and identifying Ancient Nubia's artifacts.

Welcome to the National Museum of Sudan!

Nubian hieroglyphics on the side of an ancient temple.
One of the amazing coffins found in the pyramids.
A king's old mirror made of iron.
Did you know Nubians made the best pottery at that time?

Tools used for battles, cooking and making things.

Stones and rocks found in Nubia deep underground.

Going back to school. Goodbye!
